It also tells me that I've more than likely got an issue elsewhere with the bike - I'm hoping its a spark plug issue coz thats exactly what it feels like - missing ever so slightly at neutral throttle but enough to be a pita and smooth when the powers on. Your response is exactly what I was hoping to hear, so I'm going for a re-program. Great your in love with it as there's none of that loving' feeling with mine Ill search for a used ECU to mess around with maps. Im willing to give a remap a go though, just want to hear from someone thats used a remapped ECU without being dyno'd, maybe they were just lucky. There's so much differences between identical bikes, including injector flow rates (up to 8%), cam timing, cylinder pressure and throttle balance - for these reasons a good map for a one bike can be useless in another. Have you had your bike dyno'd with each ECU?ġ99GBP to get my ECU re-programmed, I'm trying to establish/justify this, so some info regarding how each ECU/Mapping combination you own was set-up acquired would be greatly appreciated. This will allow me to fit a Power Commander and dyno the bike properly BUT I dont have access to a dyno!! Yes I have a reputable contact in the UK who will re-program the ECU, disable O2, gear trims and exhaust valve and load a map onto it from a dyno'd bike with the same mods. carbon / titanium ~ it's a disease but loving it.Ībsolute in love with my MTS after owning 70+ bikes in my life and definitely will be a keeper for the family collection and gets shipped to Oz later on or sooner ~ who knows right now, did a few k's ( been there ~ done that) of China biking since 1989.
